WHALEY BRIDGE OUT WEST FROM WHALEY FILMS
Saturday 02 July 2011, 2pm until 9pm, The Uniting Church, Whaley Bridge
Just a reminder about the wonderful film extravaganza, bonanza that the Whaley Films Group is putting on this Saturday upstairs at the Uniting Church. It’s a triple bill of Westerns – and there’s something for everyone - from families to adults…all the films and free and you can drop in at any of them. I’ll be taking my 4-year old to see Rango so hopefully see some of you there!!!! Refreshments will be provided by the Scouts who are cooking up refried beans to raise money for their worn out camping equipment through donations!
2pm - 3.45 Rango (PG) 2011
An animated Western with a chameleon (Johnny Depp) as the unlikely hero.
4.30 - 6pm High Noon (U) 1952
One of the greatest Westerns ever made, starring Gary Cooper and Grace Kelly.
7pm - 9pm 3:10 to Yuma (15) 2007
Battle of wills between a small time rancher (Christian Bale) and outlaw (Russell Crowe).
Refreshments provided by the Scouts who will be fundraising to replace worn out camping equipment.
