Mrs Rock Banker & I have just returned from dinner at the Board Inn, the first time we have eaten there since Kirsty and Anthony took over.

The menu is small and fairly simple; Ham Eggs & Chips, Burger & Chips, Bangers & Mash, Cottage Pie etc. One vegetarian main course (Penne Arrbiata).

Mrs RockBanker heaped praise on both Ham and the (free range) Eggs, and I my burger was thick, juicy and meaty, served with a fresh salad and a great tomato relish. Good chips as well. Two very clean plates. Puddings hit the spot - an exceptionally chocolately chocolate pot and a cheesecake.

In conclusion, simple food using good ingredients cooked very well.
