The history forum has now been made a moderated forum.  This means your post will not appear until a moderator has checked the content and made the post live.

This will cause a slight delay in a new post appearing but should stop the rubbish posts from spoiling the true content.

Leaving now

How long has the General Discussion Forum been subject to moderator approval before posting? I can understand the reasons for this happening on the History Forum but feel it's excessive to extend this to the other forums as it creates unnecessary delays and extra work for the people who administer the forum.

As far as I know it is not subject to moderator approval. What makes you think it is?
