I have just witnessed a man almost get run over by a HGV in the village. He stepped out infront of it to cross the road when the crossing was less than 5 meters away. Please use the crossing - that's what it's there for!

And it a really pedestrian friendly crossing. It usually changes as soon as you press the button, ulike some. |
