Three quid at The Goyt when he has it on.
The optimist believes that Whaley Bridge is the best place in the world to live. The pessimist fears he might be correct.

If you are talking about pubs as places  to drink beer rather than as surrogate restaurants there is little to choose  between  The Goyt and The Shepherds.  Both have a selection of decent beers and good atmosphere.

OK, so I had to Google the answer. Tribute is a Cornish Pale Ale brewed at St Austell brewery. I had no idea that such a brew was sold regularly in Whaley Bridge.

Given the title of the topic are you surprised that Tribute is beer rather than Whiskey or a paint solvent :-)

I am reliable informed that the price of Tribute at The Goyt has risen to £3/2/0

It was obviously a beer, but I had not come across it before.
