This site is aimed at remembering all those from the Whaley Bridge area that served during the Great War and the many men that did not return .
Please visit will be very pleased to here from anyone that may have a story to share and add to the web site. This will be a permanent on line Memorial.

Mr Twitcher

I see the domain name is in your name to next January. Could you put a follow from it to your dad's website so the website will be active again under that name without any further expense?

Interested in your comment Norm,

Yes the Domain name is good to January next year.
At the moment… the whaleybridgefirstwar  site is in fact residing on my web space.

The link   http://www.peterthomp.co.uk/blank_web/index.htm
takes viewers  exclusively to the site.
Not al all sure it is possible to use the original address…. Are you saying it can be done?

Willing to give it a go if so.

It depends on the provider you have registered www.whaleybridgefirstwar.co.uk with.

Some allow you to set up a link to transfer to any other site. In your case then to your site, i.e  http://www.peterthomp.co.uk/blank_web/index.htm
