The attached pdf file is a simple user guide to the new forum. It covers the following:

How to register and log on.

How to play with your profile and add pictures and signatures to it.

How to Navigate round the Forum, add posts and reply to them.

How to include photos and documents in your posts.

How to use free software to change the size of your images to make them more easy to post.

Cheers

Jon Goldfinch

Note that the file is in Adobe pdf format. Most people will already have the Adobe reader software on their computer and will be able to read it. If you cant, then just download the free Adobe reader from http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/ . It can be supplied in other formats if required.

Hi Stuart,

I have created a document which explains how to do it step by step for PC's running Windows VISTA.

If you have Windows XP, then the first part about subscribing to the feed will still be valid. However, i havn't tried using XP to display the headlines yet, and I'll need to have a play before I update the document to include the XP method for displaying the feeds.

Cheers

Jon.

Hi Stuart,

I realized a problem with my document.

I didn't correctly indicate that you need to set up a feed in both the General discussion area AND the Local History area for the information to come through properly. I have updated the document to reflect this.
