Has anyone pictures of trains in and through Fernilee at the Shady Oak station ,tunnel and cutting at Fernilee hall Farm. Anything would be of interest.

Seeing as this section of the line closed in 1892 the chances of there being any photos are low. I have never seen anything for that area.

Thanks for the reply ,I know it's a long shot I was told somebody had a picture of a engine with a steel hoop to test the access to the tunnel under the then A6 now A5004, not sure what it was all about perhaps before work started to build the reservoir ? there are pictures of the rail system at the dam area.

I think there might be confusion with an image showing a locomotive entering Shallcross Yard in the 1960s. The track of the Cromford and High Peak line past Fernilee will have been removed in the 1890s.
