Finally managed to scan this photo which is taken on the veranda at the back of what would have been the Barber's (Harry Jones) in Bridge Street.  It is really poor quality - as is the original - but I still think it is nice to see a picture from the past.  The question is:-  is the guy at the back Harry Jones or Wilf - it really depends on how we can date the photo.

There are also 2 children in the photograph - one in the doorway behind the old gentleman and a toddler on his right-hand side. 

I'm sure when I was small the Barber's stripey pole was still outside the `shop', but only Emma was living there then.

Sorry - don't know why you can see a massive photo and not an attachment - and I thought I was quite good with computers !

When I put my pictures of the fox hat on I pressed the upload button and got the same result as yourself rather than an attachment, next time perhaps if we browse the source of the file an put it in the box it may come up as an attachment if we don't upload it..
