A series of film evenings has been organised commencing on Friday 17th February.  The first film is "Last Of The Blond Bombshells" starring Judi Dench and Ian Holm.  There is no admission charge but a donation of £3 is recommended. The venue is Furness Vale Community Centre and the film starts at 7.30pm.  A bar will be available and light refreshment served.  I understand that this will become a regular even on the third Friday of each month.

The next film evening at Furness Vale Community Centre is on Friday 16th March at 7.30pm.  "Water For Elephants" is a romantic drama starring Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson. There is no charge but a donation of £3 is suggested.

Showing at Furness Vale Community Centre on Friday 20th April is the film "Australia" starring Nicole Kidman and High Jackman.  The film starts at 7.30pm.

There is no admission charge although a £3 donation is suggested.

The bar will be open and light refreshments will also be available.

This Friday 1st June. A special Bank Holiday film for all the family  - "Hugo"   Furness Vale Community Centre at 7.30pm admission £1 for all ages

The first film of the year in Furness Vale is Bridesmaids on Friday 18th January

 

Next Monday, 7th January there will be a meeting at Furness Vale Community Centre to discuss proposals for forthcoming films and volunteer help. The meeting is at 8pm and everybody is welcome

The showing of Bridesmaids tonight has had to be cancelled because of the weather.  Next Showing 'Made in Dagenham' 21st February.
