Thinking of all things Royal this Jubilee weekend,  how about trying this Jubilee Film Quiz.

The answers will be posted here on the Forum after the Whaley Bridge Film Group's next screening which is on Thursday 7th June at 7.30pm at the Railway pub. We will be showing "Saturday Night and Sunday Morning" a 1960 British classic which thrilled audiences at the time with its anti-establishment energy, gritty realism and Albert Finney's performance as its outspoken, working - class hero. 

So  here is the quiz, Good Luck !

Finally, if you enjoy film, are a fan of canal boats & waterways or are interested in British history, don't forget we are screening the 1944 docudrama "Painted Boats" (about life upon the canals of Britain) as part of Whaley Water Weekend at 4pm on Saturday 9th June at the Uniting Church. Entry is free & the film running time is an hour. There will be tea and cakes from 3.30pm. As with the regular monthly film screenings, you can either reserve tickets by contacting whaleyfilms@hotmail.co.uk  phone 07531 982995 - alternatively collect a ticket on the door on the day.
