In order to manage the forum more effectively, the Whaley Bridge Webgroup, who oversee the forum and the whaleybridge.com website, are looking for additional moderators to help with the day to day management of the forum. It is a voluntary post and does not require any prior experience of the role. Moderators are expected to act in the best interests of the forum, enforcing the rules as necessary, and helping to guide it through difficult patches. There are no fixed hours and it is entirely up to you how much time you spend in the role. Moderators should be impartial, flexible, and reasonable in their approach to others. A thicker skin than normal is usually useful. The role is open to people of all ages and genders.

If you wish to become a moderator please email Whaley Bridge Town Council at towncouncil@whaleybridge.com , and provide details about yourself, and the reason why you wish to become a moderator. Please mark the email FAO Whaley Bridge WebGroup.
