Hi
Thought I would add a rare post on here regarding the thread "Any News on the Jodrell" started by Neil. I am dismayed that it has been locked since it was a good thread about a subject that people are interested in since it is a major building in Whaley.
From what I can gather it has been locked because the usual suspects posted rubbish about another topic completely on it. I don't agree with locking it, the offending material should be deleted (or moved to another thread and that locked if you wish to keep it) and the Jodrell thread re-opened.

The optimist believes that Whaley Bridge is the best place in the world to live. The pessimist fears he might be correct. |

Thanks for the new thread, is there any news then on the Joddy?
As its left to rot it will become increasingly more expensive to renovate/restore, it will lose any development attraction for the anyone with deep pockets.

Sorry, I have no news. I really wanted the original thread opened, but if the mods will not do it then I suppose this thread can be used instead. In the past I organised a few "doos" at the Jodrell because of it's size, so it is a bit of a loss.

Good evening.
I also agree with Well Known Norm's comments.
The “Any News on the Jodrell” thread starts to go off topic from post #45.
Could the posts from #45 onwards be transferred to another thread, as previously suggested, and the topic reopened?
