Dear all
As you may already be aware, snow is forecast across Derbyshire this evening. Up to 2cm could fall on lower ground, with the possibility of 5 to 10cm on higher ground.
We're gritting all secondary routes from 12.30pm and primary routes at 4pm and 8pm.
We'll monitor the weather overnight and will continue to grit as required.
For the latest weather information and forecasts visit the Met Office website (opens in a new window).
You can follow us on Twitter (opens in a new window) and follow the #derbyshirewinter for latest information.
Further updates regarding gritting activity and weather conditions will be posted on the County Council website at approximately 7am, 2pm and 9pm each day.

Cheers

Jon.
