I originally came on here to see if I could find anything out about the bridge over the river Goyt near the canal basin, and I am glad I found this forum.

I am amazed at the amount of history and number of various subjects that the people on this forum have about Whaley Bridge and the surrounding districts. The photographs are really excellent and I enjoy reading the points being discussed as well as the historical subjects.

It is a shame that other towns and villages do not have a forum like this one, they do not know what they are missing.

Well done everyone.
