This book by John Benjamin Firth was first published by Macmillan in1905. Reprints are currently available - look on Amazon.  An electronic version (minus the illustrations) is available from the library of the University of California  www.ebooksread.com/authors-eng/j-b-john-benjamin-firth/highways-and-byways-in-derbyshire-ala/1-highways-and-byways-in-derbyshire-ala.shtml  It is also possible to download this book in txt file format from the same site

There have been quite a few interesting links posted on the site over the years. I wonder if it would be a good idea to group them together on a seperate page or a 'sticky' thread.

So best forgotten.
