Last call for people interested in history, heritage and cultural stuff

The PATHS project is looking for people to come and find out about a new system for exploring cultural heritage collections online. If you are:

•       A local history enthusiast
•       A student using museum, gallery or archive collections for your studies
•       A teacher or college or university lecturer or researcher or information professional using museum, gallery or archive collections in your work
OR
•       Visit museums, galleries, archives or heritage sites such as castles, mills, mines and more, for leisure / general interest ...

… we would love you to come along to a demonstration of the PATHS system, a new way of exploring digital heritage collections before you go in person, after you get back from a visit or if you cannot get there in person at all!


A demonstration of the system will be held in the Meeting Room of the Mechanics Institute on Tuesday 7th August at 7.30pm (and will last about 90 minutes). Refreshments will be provided so please let Jill Griffiths know (jillian.griffiths@mdrpartners.com) if you would like to come along.

This study is being conducted as part of the EU-funded PATHS Project - www.paths-project.eu . We are a research & development project, not a commercial organisation. We will have some group discussions (which we will record just for us to listen to) and ask you to fill out a questionnaire. All data collected will be made anonymous and no participants will be personally identified.
