People should reasonably expect to be able to post on the forum without this sort of response. It puts people off using the forum and it adds nothing to it.

Well, I was going to let this lie, but now another over-the-top response!!! Firstly the initial headline: where does it ever mention RAID in the report? Since when is a knock on the door, entry and search a raid? I'm sure after reading this OTT headline most people pictured a van of SWAT police smashing the door down at dawn!!!
Then comes Horwich Enders input: DRUGS FARM!!! Where does it say anything in all reports that it's being treated as a Drugs Farm?
Such dramatisation may sell newspapers (where the headline & story seldom match) but does not do service to this forum.....which surely is the point JG was trying to make

I appreciate you posted early in the morning but I think you have misquoted me.

I simply provided a link to the official Derbyshire Constabulary website which has the headline:
Arrests made after police find suspected cannabis farm in Whaley Bridge home
Are you suggesting Derbyshire Police have made an “over-the-top response!!!” ?
I agree with Chairman Jon the Whaley One when he says this topic is of “local interest” and I thank Athena for bringing it to the attention of forum readers.

....& so you in turn misrepresent me.... I never disagreed that the story was of interest, it certainly is. It was the dramatisation of the headline that I thought was too much!!!
