Good afternoon.

Is this one of the reasons why Long Hill A5004 and the Cat and Fiddle A537 are considered to be two of the most dangerous roads in Britain?

It's not one of the reasons. It's THE reason. If you take bikes out of the equation, then the C&F is nowhere near the most dangerous road. I ride a motorcycle over the Cat quite often, and I encounter all sorts of people doing crazy things. Thankfully they are in the minority. The detailed stats on the Cat reveal that most of the accidents are men aged 25-45 who do not live in the area, and the accidents usually have no other vehicle involved.

I hope nobody is suggesting banning something.
