I followed the grritter over Disley tops early this evening. He was speaking grit as he went but the moment he crossed into Derbyshire the grit was switched off. I understand that it's a different county but surely they could come to a deal where Cheshire do,one side of the road and Derbyshire the other? As I type the gritter has gone past again so at least the rest of the road has been done now

i have seen the same on a few occasions...off goes the grit, and then they try to do a u turn at the 'fly tipping' turn! ...and then go back
