I would imagine that I am not the only one to have noticed a recent addition to the Shall Cross on Elnor Lane - Something that looks like an ugly garden centre concrete "celtic cross" ornament plonked on the top. I hope it has not been permanently attached, and that its owner will remove it soon. I understand that the Shall Cross is a scheduled ancient monument and as such any alteration or addition is a criminal offence.
