I dont seem to be able to add to my 1st posting - i am very new to this site. Sorry if i am not doing this properly but i am hoping someone local to Taxal may be able to assist me.
John Trickett my 2x Great Grandfather died 5 May 1907 and is said to be buried at Taxal Church

Not an answer to your question, but Trickett, a rather unusual name, rings many bells with me. In my youth I spent some time working for the "Signals & Telegraph" department of British Rail in Birmingham. My supervisor was a Mr P. Trickett, who had previously been responsible for such systems on the Stockport-Buxton line that passes through Whaley Bridge. |

Weekend came early. I don't have a record of a headstone for John TRICKETT at Taxal but there are for the following:
Benjamin bur 1924 aged 69
Frank bur 1968 aged 89
Hannah bur 1967 aged 81
James
James bur 1916 aged 28
Jane bur 1944 aged 80
May EE bur 1937 aged 51 and
Robert bur 1957 aged 78
