This is the title of a  book from the Railway and Canal Historical Society to be published next month.  Written by Graham Boyes and Brian Lamb it contains 220 pages, 130 photograhs and 19 maps.  The book will be available by mail order - see the website : http://www.rchs.org.uk/trial/gwpf.php?wpage=Peak%20Forest%20book

The book will be launched with a lecture on November 10th in Manchester. At this event it will be sold for £20 rather than the normal price of £30.
