Stickers have started to appear around the village on lamp posts indicating which ones will be switched off overnight. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I was all in favour of it initially as it would reduce costs and also is more environmentally friendly but after the recent spate if break ins I'm slightly concerned that it might not be such a good idea after all

Send back your council tax bill with the same percentage decrease as the lights and see how far it gets you!

Turn the lights back on!!!! Whose crazy idea is this? I don't recall any consultation, and who has decided which lights to turn off? At a time when there's been more burglaries in Whaley Bridge than ever before, we offer an open invatation to these criminals; great!!!
