The Binmen had not been gone above five minutes this morning, when I looked out of my window to see the Council pavement sweeper struggling to negotiate all  the now empty wheelie bins that are now casually distributed along the Whaley Lane footpaths.  Net result is that a fair portion of the pavements have not been swept.  I actually felt sorry for the driver and wondered who actually plans which days the cleaners do which area or is it just random.
