On Carnival day this year, June 29th  , if the weather is good,  there will be the sound of  a Rolls Royce Merlin engine in the air as a Spitfire does a fly past over Whaley !.
The Rose Queen Carnival Committee have somehow managed to arrange this, and Congratulations to them for doing so.

Cheers
Jon.

Hi,
According to a carnival committee member,  the Spitfire will be over Whaley Bridge at around 2.50pm  this Saturday, weather permitting.

Cheers

Jon.

Which member of the Rose Queen Committee was able to arrange for a Spitfire to do a flypast over Whaley Bridge?

Hi,
Did anyone get any good photos of the Spitfire going over. I'd like to see them if possible. Can people post the best ones they have ?
Cheers
