Does anyone know what is going on at the basin?   I thought it had been drained but according to the notices it has been "dewatered",   Is this breach in the canal or planned maintenance work?
The optimist believes that Whaley Bridge is the best place in the world to live. The pessimist fears he might be correct.

From 04/11/2013 to 08/03/2014

Bugsworth Arm has suffered failure of the washwall in various sections along its length. A team of volunteers and CRT staff will be undertaking repairs to the washwall.

Temporary moorings are available in watered section of the Bugsworth Arm.

Winding is available at the Arm of Bugsworth Basin Junction.
