Evening everyone,
I seem to recall there is a road in Offerton where the houses have masses of outside lights. Does anyone happen to know the name of the road? I'd like to swing by at some point to have a look or can anyone suggest another road where the houses are perhaps a little over the top with their decoration?

I recall a cartoon in Spy mag some years ago. There was a street, completely alive with Xmas lights, giant trees, inflatable Santas on the roof, Reindeers in the garden etc etc. Except for a single house. That house had no lights around it, and inside you could just see an old couple, sat near a cosy fire, above of which sat a picture of Jesus, a cross, and a lighted candle. Another couple were peering into this house and exclaimed - " Pfffft, miserable buggers, no sense of Christmas at all". Edited by user 13 December 2013 14:03:29(UTC)
