When is this so called forum, a disgrace to Whaley Bridge going to be removed. I put this here since there seems no way to contact anyone regarding this mess.

I had already asked for someone to look at the problem of guest postings being allowed in the 4cycle section of this forum as this has encouraged spam postings. As for your other comment, well that's your point of view. Certainly the forum is not used much at all these days, but that doesn't make it a disgrace in my opinion. You are always welcome to sign up to an account and to make relevant postings should you so wish.

Sorry Tarboat, am not trying to be obtuse - as the poster of no. 1,459 I can assure you that I did not make any other post than that. I can appreciate your thoughts on guest posts. That said, has anyone thought why members don't access the main forum as members? Could it be that since the update they aren't actually able to make a post? Perhaps this might need a little investigation.

I never thought that you had made all those guest posts, it is clearly an overall total of all guests. As far as I can tell people are still able to post here if they wish. I think that the issue is that other forms of social media have taken over the role that this forum used to fill. There were occasions of strife here too which didn't help in the retention of posters. In the end it's down to whether people want to use the forum. I suspect that Facebook is rather more immediate, although less structured, and meets the requirements of many folk even if it's useless for finding images or threads.

Well on the 18th April Mr. Trueman (whoever he is) proudly announced the forum can be used again after it is was down for a few weeks. Well I thought I would put a post on so there will be at least one new post to read this month  Edited by user 08 May 2016 13:06:42(UTC)
