I understand the name the name BLACK SHEEP antiques was modified/changed from BLACK PUDDING antiques,

due to the size/girth of its owner.??

Nigel,

i must say the "Chimes" at whaley Bridge, has some of the finest antique clocks i have ever seen,

and who ever ownes the shop must be very advanced in their knowledge of this subject , as the shop is registered with the BHI.

thats the BRITISH HOROLOGICAL INSTITUTE.

only real players in this field can be associated due to their knowledge of the craft.

good to see such a proper antique shop in our lovely rural setting.

cannot quite understand what the business upstairs is all about,   "INTERNATIONAL  ALCAMY" or words to that order. ??

Whos "Martin."

I think you may have been wound-up,

as i am nothing what so ever to do with any antique-shops in whaley-Bridge.

are you the gentleman with the Junk/Brick-a Brack shop in the town centre.?

Thanks for the banter anyway.

What do you mean by "thin Skins" ??

Lovejoy.

Dear S/S,

I still do not know 100% know who you are talking about,

But if you are as rude and smart with your comments, i think it will not be long till you are found-out.

I am certain the man i think you are talking about would smile at you, and find you nearly amusing.!!

Good luck.!!

Your father is such a pleasent, and charming gentleman who sells superb meat.

he must smile sometimes  at your comments also.

M.L.

Beverley Macca,

I find your post offensive.

You will be barred from the forum if you post this sort of personal attack again in any thread.

"I find your post offensive"... Are you for real?

Put it back up on another thread and let's have a vote as to whether the rest of the forum believes it is offensive..

I was simply referring to a small man complex...

Again, in the absence of objective guidelines, no swear word was used, there was no innuendo, nothing explicit, just a slap down.

What a ridiculous gesture to threaten to ban... if the rest of forum also believes it was offensive I will stand corrected and apologise.

Yet again, an over-reaching attempt to control.

For all those that want to read the sentence and vote as to whether you thought it was offensive please email direct at ebbie.s.reynolds@gmail.com">debbie.s.reynolds@gmail.com

I will reply with the exact wording on the understanding you say whether you thought it was worthy of me being threatened with being banned or just a brasssy bird...

BM,

Your position in post #56 in 'What's going on' stands in stark contrast to your post today.

We are no longer prepared to put up with posts like your one today on this forum.

The same goes to others who feel they can childishly write what they like and attack others with impunity. It reflects badly on this forum, and it will be stopped.

If you want to behave like this, then do it elsewhere on another forum.

Cheers

Jon.
