Hi
I can now announce that planning is already underway for next years W3 Whaley Water Weekend-acts are being booked. It will be a three day event which will build on the success of this years spectacular and will take place over the weekend of 10th, 11th and 12th June.
Interested parties can mail us at w3@mobelec.co.uk
We are looking for people, groups and artistes that are willing to put the community before self promotion or financial gain to join us.

I am sure that this is unprecedented but next years event is already over subscribed. All stalls and acts at this years event wish to return and space at the Wharf / basin is fully booked.
However, we are intending to expand the event to include a "fringe" so we are looking at other locations in town.
All local organisations are invited to participate on their own sites.
The Water Weekend has outgrown the canal basin area and it's infrastructure - particularly parking, toilets and disabled facilities
Watch out for a Friday evening (June 10th 2011) "picnic at the basin"-entertainment is being arranged
