Hello all, I am Daniel and I am considering moving into Whaleybridge soon, I come from Macclesfield really.

I was wondering if there might be any rentable garages in Whalebridge?

I mean the sort of thing where a number of units are clumped together and are useful for a few residents to rent them (presumably from the local council) for whatever reason, say their property does not have a garage. - Are these things called "lock-ups"?

Anyway it's not a criterion for moving into a place I know, but just wondering!

Would appreciate any acknowledgment of this!

Cheers,

Dan

Hi Dan,

Welcome to the forum!

Yes such plots do exist, well I am aware of at least one in the village.

They are run by the council and I think you have to pay nominal rent.  However I think the supply/demand situation is a bit one sided as my partner has had her name down for one for around 2years now and so far no luck!

I expect some of the other members of the forum may know more.
