I'd like to apologise to all the regulars on the History side of these forums for disrupting "The Man In The Hat" thread by responding to**. I knew I shouldn't have done it, as I knew where it would lead. 

Until we get a new sub-forum for pointless arguments, I promise not to engage with him again.

But I was rather surprised to be attacked for making a suggestion on setting up a Database and a spelling error - no need for that is there?

That would be a very small forum as there is little room for doubt about that :-)

I am sure there is doubt. I would name four that I visit on a regular (if not frequent) basis, each with their own virtues.
