Hi

Just been looking at the Errwood Hall pages on the website.

On this page http://www.whaleybridge.net/localhistory/errwoodhall/pictures.htm near the top are four colour pictures of reservoirs, all called Fernilee Reservoir. Isn't the top left Errwood?

It certainly is. The net is a good clue. It is there to stop boats going down the plughole (on the bottom left) when the water level is somewhat higher.
The optimist believes that Whaley Bridge is the best place in the world to live. The pessimist fears he might be correct.

Nice one David.

I knew it was Errwood, just needed confirmation in case I was going mad. I have looked at the page a couple of times and never really studied it, just bits of water to me. It will be changed in the next few minutes.

Also cheers to Dave, two many Daves/Davids round here!!!
