Well I watched now and again, nothing happened. I hope the weekend in June is better.

Thank you for your patience Snoopy.
A very busy weekend. And a busy day today. I should have called in on my way down Start Lane this morning. I will post later as I am just about to start my First Aid course for W3.
Thanks

Well, good evening all. The first moment that I have had to sit down today.
This years Water Weekend will retain all the old favourites:
The boat trips and water related activities which are at its heart. Punch and Judy and last years favourites the Meerkats.
The outdoor stage, classic cars, the Whaley Band, dancers, craft and charity stalls. Local organisations will be represented. The Well Dressers will have a workshop.
There will be a local landscape photo exhibition-leading to a competition and a "Fringe".
After the success of last years evening live music session we have applied for and been granted a licence and permissions to extend the event later into the summers evening. All local bands will be given the opportunity to play with one or two others from neighbouring towns and young musicians represented.
For the first time at the Water Weekend we are planning a Friday evening session on the previously unused outdoor stage. This will be Acoustic/Folk and we are working with professionals to bring this about.
We have applied for arts funding and we have in place the foundations for building a three day music and arts event which could encompass all genres. It is now up to interested individuals, artistes and businesses to decide how and if they wish to participate in this opportunity to bring some rejuvenation, pride and community spirit back to the Town.
Thank you for now
Barry

Patience is my middle name.
Just wanted to know, it sounded important. I will help again.
