The west highland way has been voted the most scenic train ride in the world for 3 years running... has anyone taken the journey by steam train? It is supposed to be breathtaking I have a video of the steam train visiting Garelochhead en route to Fort William taken on the evening of Monday 9th May 2011, as well as an interview with the driver... http://helensburgh.urtv....am-train-at-garelochheadWhat does everyone think?

After spending holidays round that area I can imagine why people think it is very scenic. I doubt if there is such a thing as the most scenic since it often depends on the viewer but it is certainly a very lovely area. I would put it very high in my list.

That is the way to travel, beats a car any day. I am envious.
