The west highland way has been voted the most scenic train ride in the world for 3 years running... has anyone taken the journey by steam train? It is supposed to be breathtaking

I have a video of the steam train visiting Garelochhead en route to Fort William taken on the evening of Monday 9th May 2011, as well as an interview with the driver...

What does everyone think?

After spending holidays round that area I can imagine why people think it is very scenic. I doubt if there is such a thing as the most scenic since it often depends on the viewer but it is certainly a very lovely area. I would put it very high in my list.

That is the way to travel, beats a car any day. I am envious.
