Good Morning

We are often being asked here at W3 HQ, do we make a profit, are we a charity and who pays for it all.

Our accounts are available at our AGM and income is as follows:

WBTC kindly supports the event on behalf of  Council tax paying residents with a grant of £2000

Local businesses pay to advertise with us and we have a main business sponsor as you will have seen in our progaram that has just dropped through your letter box with the Review.  In addition some local businesses supply us at cost price, provide services free or lend us equipment.

Traders including the fair ground and ice cream van all pay us to be present.

Expenses are numerous and include nearly £600 each for the insurance and Punch and Judy.  Many hundreds of hours are given freely by committee members, boat crews and helpers, local musicians play free of charge.

At the end of the event we hope to break even and have a small reserve to enable next years event to be planned.

Cheers

sometimes over the hill - but never far away.
