Evening all

I was unhappy to hear last year an elderley lady say that she was disappointed that she missed seeing the Meerkats at w3 as difficult for her to get down from Horwich End.

Well this year we have addressed that as part of our policy to include the whole community.  Working with the WBA and Buxton volunteer centre we are providing free, wheel chair friendly transport.

Today I visited Cromford Court to speak to residents.  But this is for any resident who may find it difficult to attend the event.  Your can ring 01298 23970 Monday to Friday to arrange pick up from your home,  visit the W3 tent which will be in the canal basin from tomorrow or see the warden at Cromford Court.

Don't forget we have a wheelchair friendly boat-the New Horizons with a free trip to Buggy Basin.

Collected from home, free Meerkats, free boat trip, Punch and Judy-I'll even throw in  a free cup of tea at the Guides tent and get you home.

Cheers

Barry
