The lady in post  # 47 has been waiting across the road and watching Cecil's Beech Nut  Chewing Gum machine. Can you remember the knob at the side that you turned to drop your packet. The knob had an arrow on it and every 4th go, when the arrow pointed to the front, the user got 2 packets for the price of 1. All the schoolchildren used to watch the arrow furtively. Ah!  Memories!
