Hi RockBanker,

I fear your optimism may be a little misplaced. When I went round to my daughter's at dinnertime, the engineer and his van were still there, and he seemed to be doing something with the new control box.

However, when I returned home, around 3.30pm, both the van and the engineer had gone, but we are still on the so-called "temporary" traffic lights.

Ah well, I guess 18:00 was optimistic. I hope 2012 is not.

Any know if the temporary traffic lights are still at Horwich End? If so is the queue from Macclesfield as bad as it was yesterday evening?

I read this page and it made me smile,....a brief reminder of why its ok to admit liking living here,...as for the lights,.....I just leave a bit earlier and do the music thing,....life is way too short folks.
